Hello Vegas!

Hello Vegas! It's show season in the fashion world and that means little rest for us hardworking travel and fashion lovers here at OTBT. Last week, OTBT took on Las Vegas, Nevada for the WWD Magic fashion trade show. Hosted in the resort town that's known for it's buzzing energy, 24-hour casinos and endless entertainment options; this is a show that happens twice a year featuring men's, women's and children's apparel and accessories, footwear (of course) and resources. It is always one of our favorites and so we just had to share it with you, our beloved OTBT fans. 

Like Vegas, these shows pack a lot of energy! We want to take you behind the scenes to give you an idea of what the convention center was like. As always, there were booths upon booths filled with trendy products, buyers everywhere diligently shopping for their stores, amazing models putting products on display and brand reps everywhere to answer questions and take orders. The OTBT booth was full of travel inspired decor, perfect for the wanderlust soul; from railroad tracks to maps it gave a warm and inviting feel! 

On display for OTBT, was some of our fabulous Spring 2016 styles as well as some Fall 2016 styles that you will be able to see soon! We love getting style feedback at these shows and this feedback brings us to my next point, what you need in your closet this season. Along with the client feedback, we get even more out of these shoe shows! We get to establish new client relationships, foster existing relationships and build brand awareness all while selling the shoes that we love and can't get enough of. Our Director of Sales and Marketing, Cheryl Valentine, just got back from Vegas and was buzzing about the show this morning in the office.

"The energy at the show was absolutely palpable. Vegas is a great travel destination, partly because it's a piece of Americana, but it's also so much more than just a destination. It' a fantastic location to meet up with customers as they shop for the upcoming seasons." 

She also reflected on how shows like WWD Magic grant us the ability to pull research from around the globe to bring our customers exactly what they want! 

"Since we have the global research capability, we are able to bring trends together from around the world and deliver those to customers in our own unique way." 

So far this month, we have been to New York City, Vegas, Dallas and are now in Atlanta, Georgia for the second time! Of course, we will continue to travel next month and the months after that. What can we say, there's never enough travel for the wanderlust souls that we are.
